“Love Your Enemies” is a powerful, well-acted film about an unexpected encounter between former East German leader Erich Honecker and the Christian family of Pastor Uwe Holmer after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Director Jan Josef Liefers masterfully exploits the absurd historical contrast in the film.

“Between Borders” is a drama about the Armenian Petrosyan family, who flee ethnic violence in Azerbaijan and later fight for asylum in the United States. A lovely film, Boys Town, based on the true story of Irish Catholic priest Edward Joseph Flanagan, who opened a home for boys in need in Nebraska in 1917, modeled after Don Bosco’s work.

“Moonrise” is a heartfelt family drama with romantic elements. Country singer Granger Smith stars as Will Brown, a man who, following the tragic death of his wife, withdraws from his children, his music, and his own life.
