While the first installment of the film *God’s Not Dead* focused on a young Christian student who challenged his atheist professor to examine the evidence for his atheistic beliefs, the new installment focuses on the threats to religious freedom in the Western world posed by secular activist circles.

When high school history teacher Grace Wesley is asked a question about Jesus by a student during class, she makes a reasonable effort to answer it. At that point, she has no idea what trouble her response will get her into in today’s extremely secularized school environment.

What follows is a legal battle—the core of the film—in which not only Grace’s career is at stake, but also the threat that discussions about God will be banned from classrooms and the public sphere.

The legal battle invites viewers to reflect on the person of Jesus Christ and offers an analysis of several questions that may arise in connection with him. Subsequently, various pieces of evidence and clues are presented that confirm the historical reality of Jesus.

It is pointed out that, with practically no exceptions, historians do not doubt the existence of Jesus Christ.
