The story of a young French Muslim named Akim who, after his conversion to Christianity, experiences, on the one hand, various attacks and, on the other, the love of his family, who themselves suffer because of Akim’s decision.
The young Muslim Akim is set to become an imam. At that time, he is confronted with a murder in a nearby neighborhood and with a Catholic priest who inspires Akim through his example of forgiveness.
Akim also befriends a young Catholic couple, and through them he begins meeting with the priest, who answers many of his questions.
When Akim’s family discovers that he is meeting with Christians, they express their disapproval. Eventually, when Akim converts to Christianity, he experiences violent attacks from his former Muslim co-believers.
Despite all the difficulties, Akim experiences freedom and peace through his life with Christ.
