Apparitions at Fatima
Our Lady appeared at Fatima to three children, Lucia, Hyacinth and Francis. They were children brought up to respect God, people and nature. Without the apparitions of Fatima, many would not have found their way to God. It was through the Virgin Mary that they were able to do so. She took the place of the fallen angel who was given the task of bringing Light in the beginning. Her words at Fatima should always be a challenge to us. Our Lady says: “Without prayer and sacrifice, many souls will be lost.”
In the first apparitions, the children see an angel. Together with him they pray and the angel gives them the first messages. Our Lady begins to appear to them a little later.
Our Lady leads the children to prayer, to sacrifice and gives them messages and secrets through which she warns the world and asks people to convert. She desires that many evils and sufferings be prevented.
When information about the apparitions spreads, people do not believe the children at first. They call them names, they humiliate them, and the children initially have no support even in their own family. In addition, they are led through various interrogations, where they are both questioned and blackmailed.
However, when people see the perseverance and steadfastness of these young children, more and more people begin to trust them and come to the place of apparitions in ever greater numbers. The people gathering at Fatima experience several miracles. At the last apparition, a miracle takes place in front of 70,000 people, at which even atheists are converted.
A little older, but probably the best film devoted to the apparitions of Mary at Fatima.
