Courageous
A film in which the main characters are four policemen who are also fathers. While leading their families, they often face difficult life events and their own weaknesses. Despite everything, they decide to fight to be better fathers. One of the most accomplished films ever made.
The main characters, servants of the law, face danger every day. They are mainly confronted with drug dealers who draw other people into their ranks, even from their immediate surroundings. The fight against organised crime is their daily task.
These men are also fathers. Unfortunately, they do not always fulfil their paternal role as well as they should. They are becoming more aware of their fatherly roles and their irreplaceable importance in the face of various personal losses and failures.
Through fatherly encounters and their paternal promise, they begin to build themselves and their relationships.
Spicing up the film is the humorous character of Chavier, a Hispanic man looking for a job. With God’s help, he manages to find a job and, through his exemplary honesty, eventually achieves a promotion.
