Tanglewoods‘ Secret
The story of a girl named Ruth who has a problem with obedience and helping her mother. When one day she meets a sheep herder and later, when she also befriends the local priest, she discovers the true path of life through them.
Ruth is a girl who loves to play with her friend Philip. In addition, Ruth and Philip like to go into the woods. Ruth has, however, problems with her mother, who restricts her childhood plans with her demands.
One day her rebelliousness results in her running away from home. Eventually she returns to her mother and tries to make amends, which she is not always successful in doing.
Her transformation is gradual and happens through conversations with the shepherd, the priest and her mother.
A little later, a tragic event happens when her good friend falls out of a tree and his injuries are very serious, because of which he eventually dies. Ruth, despite being just a child, struggles to process and understand his death.
