A worthy treatment of the Gospel of John with good acting performances about the person of God incarnate – Jesus Christ. The Christ who alone is the true Way, the Truth and the Life, whether one trusts Christ or not.

The story tries to adhere pretty consistently to the biblical Gospel of John. The plot reveals Jesus’ actions and ideas that are foundational to Christian morality and the Church.

Among other things, the film depicts the state of Israel at the time, when the country was under the power of the Roman Empire.
