A story about true events from World War II, from the life of Corri ten Boom and her family. A film about the fact that with Jesus it is possible to overcome any difficult moments in life.
World War II. The persecution of the Jews did not escape the Netherlands. Corri is a kind-hearted woman working as a teacher with disabled children.
Corri, her sister, father and other family members decide to stand up for the Jews. For helping the Jews, they are sent to the ghetto and both sisters are eventually sent to Ravensbrück concentration camp.
Even here, they do not forget the needs of others and help as much as they can.
Several times the characters deal with the issue of suffering, its meaning and the place of God in times of suffering. Despite their doubts, Corri and her sister have strong enough faith to be an encouragement to the other women who are imprisoned with them.
