A film about learning to renounce comfort and acquired habits, about how money should not be the highest value in life, but something else.
Jason’s rich uncle dies. He left almost nothing to any of his children. The only one he is willing to give a large financial gift to is Jason’s nephew. However, along the way to this gift, he has many other, even greater gifts to discover. In order to inherit the final sum of money, he must agree to the terms dictated by his deceased uncle, which he videotaped while he was still alive.
As part of this “game,” Jason has to try hard work – as the first gift, losing everything he had as one of the other gifts, etc. Since Jason was a spoiled child growing up in affluence, these experiences are no easy ordeal for him.
As time goes on and he graduates from his uncle’s demands, his approach to life changes and he becomes a better person. He learns to recognize what is important in life and what he has to be grateful for.
On his adventurous journey that his uncle has prepared for him, he meets a single mom living with her daughter with leukemia. They get to know each other better through Jason’s friendship with her daughter.
Later, Jason helps her overcome the hardships of losing her daughter and gradually they form a deeper bond. But will Jason eventually get his uncle’s inheritance?
