Magdalena: Released from Shame
Mary Magdalene is both narrator and participant in the story of the changed lives of those who encountered Jesus and were delivered from shame by him.
Mary Magdalene narrates the biblical message from Adam to Jesus, with the heart of the film being in the description of the events in the life of Jesus.
The characters’ expressions are sometimes quite different from the widespread biblical rendering. In addition, Jesus casts the evil spirit out of Mary Magdalene in this film, but the Bible does not put it that way.
The film incorporates scenes from perhaps the most famous film about Jesus, which is based on the Gospel of Luke. It is basically just a reworked version of the Jesus film, with scenes of Mary Magdalene added and some Old Testament events forming part of the film.
