A film about how even a fall into grave sin doesn’t have to mean the end. In a harsh black environment, Cane tries to show people through his testimony a different life than the one they’ve been living. He trusts God in difficult situations and realizes that he alone cannot change people, only with the help of Christ.
Cane has been in prison for several years for murder. In prison he found his way to God and became a preacher of the gospel.
After his release, he comes to the place where he came from as a pastor and preacher. The spiritual life there is almost dead, and Cane is trying to revive it. Many still look at him, however, as just a murderer and a criminal.
Despite his prejudices and fears, he also has the courage to stand up for people who are involved in the drug trade, which is fed by local gang members. Norris, for example, makes his living selling drugs.
With the help of Pastor Cane, Norris wants to put an end to the drug trade. However, getting out of the life of a drug dealer is not so easy.
Eventually Norris is murdered, but his death is the beginning to the conversion of the dealers’ leader Blaze.
