Philip Neri, the famous Italian saint, known also for the miracles that accompanied his life’s journey. The biographical story of a man who saved wayward youth and brought them to God.

After joining the Jesuit Order, Philip Neri plans to go on a mission to India. In Rome, however, he comes into contact with children whose parents either don’t have enough time for them or with street children who are exploited by criminals for theft and begging.

Neri begins to take an interest in these children and helps them in various ways. Gradually, he wins over even the most hardened youths.

His work, however, has many detractors, and through them, his case reaches the Pope. The Pope ultimately recognizes the value of his work, and Neri receives a blessing for his efforts.

The second part of this two-part film focuses on the events that take place once his first charges have grown into adults.

It depicts the different paths their lives take and the indelible mark that Neri’s kindness and Christ’s love have left on their lives. And this is despite the various complications they bring upon themselves, primarily through their own selfishness and foolishness.
