A Question of Faith
An inspiring story with a touching ending. While the film can be criticized for its slow pace, dull dialogue, and predictability, it is, on the other hand, a film full of beautiful gestures of Christian love with an amazing conclusion.
Pastor David is a loving husband and father. Unfortunately, because of his work, he often neglects the promises he made to his 12-year-old son, Erik. Kate is a single mother and the owner of a local restaurant. Her daughter, Maria, is a teenager striving to be the first in her family to attend college.
There’s also John, the owner of a failing construction company, who sees his daughter Michelle’s budding singing career as a way out of their financial troubles.
These strangers cross paths when several major twists enter their lives. While texting and driving, Mária accidentally hits Erik. As a result, Mária goes to prison. At the same time, Erik’s family is faced with a serious dilemma. Compounding the situation is Michelle’s breakdown and devastating revelations about her health and future.
All three families find themselves at a crossroads, questioning their faith and the God who guides their lives. As each family member deals with their own problems, their worlds begin to intertwine.
