The 2020 film Claret, directed by Pablo Moreno, is an exploration of historical events that show how, more than 150 years ago, various individuals from the ranks of Freemasons and Communists abused the press to smear those who stood in the way of their perverse interests.

Due to the queen’s opportunism and betrayals, which intertwine with the efforts of secularists to seize power in Spain, Claret experiences various internal struggles and attempts to eliminate him.
