God’s Compass is a well-made and inspiring Christian film that explores themes of faith, family, and God’s guidance in life. The story follows Suzanne Waters, a retired high school principal, as she faces unexpected crises—from family problems to the decision to help a troubled young man named Eli.

Suzanne is just stepping down from her position as high school principal. Around this time, her grandson is born, a delivery made possible in part by the help of Eli, a car thief.

However, Eli is arrested on the hospital grounds by a police officer who recognizes him. Suzanne decides to help the troubled young man; she requests his release and takes him into her home, hoping to help him turn his life around. But it won’t be easy.

Later, it turns out that Eli isn’t just some random troubled boy, but has a direct and fundamental connection to Suzanne’s family. Suzanne gradually comes to understand the metaphor of God’s compass and her special role in God’s plan for Eli’s family.
