A Walk in My Shoes
A family story about how we often struggle to put ourselves in someone else’s shoes, but also about helping those who are going through a tough time. A film about the power of family, maternal care, and the kindness and thoughtfulness of the right kind of men.
Cindy Kremer, a single mother, takes care of her teenage son and his younger brother. She works as a waitress, but somehow can’t keep up with her mortgage payments and is having trouble, especially with her teenage son.
Her son is in trouble at school, but Ms. Fahey, the teacher with whom she had scheduled a meeting, somehow can’t put herself in her shoes.
Everything is saved by a mysterious young girl who appears out of nowhere and disappears just as quickly. She arranges for Ms. Fahey to find herself in Cindy’s shoes, resulting in a change in her thinking and attitude toward Cindy.
With the help of a guy named Jake, she also helps Cindy’s family through their most difficult situation, when they’re facing eviction. Jake also helps Cindy’s teenage son cope with the loss of his father.

Crew: John Kent Harrison;
Cast: Nancy Travis, Philip Winchester, Elijah Nelson, Jackson Pace;
Parents Guide:
A few scenes featuring provocatively dressed women in shorts, tight jeans, or miniskirts with leggings.
Without the slightly eccentric girl who always shows up at just the right moment, the film would feel less cheesy.
