A film that condenses the main arguments against belief in irrational atheism and highlights the fact that the roots of atheism in people are generally deeply emotional in nature.

Josh is a new student at the school, and among the courses he selects is a philosophy class taught by Professor Radisson, who is an atheist. Radisson forces his students to sign a statement declaring that God is dead. Josh, however, refuses to do so, and Radisson subsequently demands that he prove his opposing belief, or else he will have trouble passing the course. 

Josh is afraid, but he accepts the challenge, and during the lectures, he is allotted a certain amount of time to argue in favor of the claim that God is not dead. Through his remarks on the controversial topic, he wins over the majority of the students, who are ultimately tasked with deciding whether his arguments were sufficiently convincing. 

The film’s plot is interwoven not only with the stories of Josh and Radisson, but also with that of a Muslim girl who, because of her faith in Jesus Christ, becomes an outcast in her own family. In addition to her story, the plot explores the story of a reporter who dies alone of cancer, as well as the story of a Chinese student for whom arguments against atheism are an unfamiliar experience.

Although Professor Radisson professes his faith in Jesus as he dies, from a Catholic perspective, there should also be an emphasis on repentance for his sins.
