A film about a little girl named Pollyanna who brings joy and optimism to the gloomy lives of adults. Sooner or later, even the most chronic grouch can’t resist her lessons in love, humility, and sincerity.

Pollyanna, who has lost both her mother and father, comes to live with her grumpy Aunt Polly. Pollyanna discovers that many people in her new home in New England are just as grumpy as her aunt.

Pollyanna radiates girlish optimism and teaches the people she meets to play the “Glad Game,” which her father taught her. In this way, she brings light and cheer into the lives of others in every situation.
