A film adaptation of Jack London’s legendary novel. It tells the gripping, adventure-filled family story of a brave dog and his journey to a life with his friend John Thornton. But that is not his final destination.

Due to twists of fate, Buck passes from one owner to another. He begins as a dog pampered by his wealthy owner in sunny California.

After being kidnapped by dog traders, he is sold into the freezing wilderness of the Canadian Yukon at the height of the gold rush. In the care of a Black mail carrier, he grows accustomed to life in the northern wilderness and becomes a powerful lead dog in a sled team.

Buck’s behavior embodies consideration for the other members of the pack and a strong character. Thanks to his unbreakable will, Buck manages to survive even in these harsh conditions—and even comes to enjoy them.

The greatest danger to Buck and his friends is not nature, but a man hungry for wealth and power.
