The film *Amazing Love* conveys a message of God’s infinite love and mercy, despite humanity’s betrayal of God. The film’s central theme draws on the biblical story of Hosea.

A group of young people goes on a camp trip with a married couple. The young people have different personalities, each with their own unique backgrounds and emotional wounds. The married couple leading the camp emphasize discussing the Bible, reading it, and getting to know God.

Their evening gathering culminates with the story of Hosea. From this point on, the film’s main storyline consists of scenes from the life of this biblical figure.

God asked Hosea to marry a prostitute who remained unfaithful to him even during their marriage. There is a powerful analogy between his wife’s unfaithfulness and humanity’s unfaithfulness toward God.

God chose a strong man—Hosea—so that we might better understand the magnitude of God’s love.
