Little Boy is a small boy who, because of his short stature, is bullied and labeled with various insulting and taunting nicknames. He has a loving father who spends time with his son, during which they experience various interesting adventures together.

It is World War II, and Little Boy’s father leaves to fight against the Japanese. After some time, the family learns that he has been captured by the Japanese, and they know nothing more about him.

Little Boy befriends a local Japanese man named Osimoto. The entire town hates this Japanese man, yet the two gradually build a friendship.

Little Boy also meets a local priest who helps him keep his hope and faith alive despite the grim circumstances of the war.
