A beautiful, touching story about Lucien, Anette, and her brother Dani, whose relationships with one another are severely strained due to an accident in which all three children played a part. In the end, thanks to Lucien’s efforts to make amends, everything turns out for the best. But there are many obstacles along the way. A film that highlights repentance and forgiveness.
Lucien has a falling out with Anette, which leads to him bullying Anette’s brother Dani, and the incident culminates in Dani falling off a cliff. The fall looks terrifying, but fortunately, it results only in a broken leg for Dani.
After this incident, Anette begins to treat Lucien with great hostility. However, after some time, Lucien realizes his mistake and tries to make amends. He heroically endures the betrayals and various attacks from Anette, who for a long time cannot bring herself to forgive him. Despite all the wrongs done to him, he tries to repay evil with kindness.
One day, Anette gets injured, and it is Lucien who comes to her aid. That is when her heart softens, and she begins to treat Lucien much better. Lucien eventually helps Dani himself, whose leg had healed improperly after he fell and broke it.
Thanks to a certain mysterious old man, and despite various serious difficulties, Lucien brings a doctor to the village who helps Dani straighten his leg. Particularly noteworthy in the film is the character of Anette’s grandmother, who enriches the story with many wise and inspiring words.
