Late One Night
A short film about a group of provocateurs who harbor hostility toward Christians and one of their victims, who, however, responds to their crude antics calmly, resourcefully, and kindly.
Larry is a young man who does not believe that God can love him. His life is filled with hatred and resentment. His inner struggles stem from his difficult childhood and the failures he has faced in life.
One evening, he meets a young Christian, on whom he begins to vent his emotional struggles. Their conversation is quite peculiar, but the young Christian patiently endures Larry’s outbursts.
He responds to Larry’s objections, but that is clearly not enough for Larry. Finally, in a charming final gesture, he answers even Larry’s last and most pressing question: How can God love me when God has allowed this to happen in my life?
