Redeeming Love is a story about true, boundless love that saves and heals. When people see Michael, who loves the prostitute Angel, many think he’s crazy, but this “madness” is something each of us needs to experience to some extent. Redeeming Love is a film you’ll remember for a very long time, because it’s a masterpiece of the romantic genre.

Angel was sold into prostitution as a child. After years of a difficult life and self-destruction, she meets Michael Hosea. Michael is a farmer who loves Angel from the very first moment he sees her.

To win Angel over, Michael sacrifices a large portion of his wealth. Unfortunately, even that isn’t enough. Angel has been so deeply wounded that she doesn’t believe in true love and doesn’t know how to love. Michael, however, doesn’t give up.

On the one hand, Michael tries to respect the beautiful Angel’s freedom; on the other hand, he does everything he can to rescue her from the clutches of the filth and demons of this world and give her a life filled with love on his farm. For Angel, however, the search for her lost self-worth is a long and arduous struggle.

Michael is the epitome of a man whose portrayal of fidelity and marital devotion you won’t easily find in any other film—if at all. Michael’s “madness” is, in fact, a reflection of God’s love.

Due to the theme of prostitution, the film also contains certain sexual scenes, which are, however, handled as decently and sensitively as possible. For these reasons, the film is more suitable for adult audiences.
