Victor
An inspiring film full of hope for all those who are lost in the world of addiction. An amazing story about finding freedom and liberation through an encounter with Christ. Victor Torres, a former drug addict and now a pastor, is a hero who has dedicated his life to those who have hit rock bottom.
Victor, a teenage immigrant from Puerto Rico, is raised on the streets. He struggles to get by in Brooklyn, a world rife with violence and drug trafficking.
Later, he himself experiences the bondage of gang power and heroin addiction. He endures many trials and tribulations. He undergoes several attempts to treat his addiction, but to no avail.
Thanks to his father’s love, his mother’s prayers, and even a former enemy who once wanted to kill him, he finds light and hope in the darkness of his life.
The film is based on the true story of Victor Torres. This man is living proof that God can change a person’s life for the better if that person allows God to do so and embarks on life’s journey alongside Christ.
